TUESDAY , 9TH JUNE , 2020. THEME: THE UNCHANGING CHRIST MEMOR Y VERSE : Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. ( 1 Corinthians 15:58 ) BIBLE READ ING : John 5:20-29 20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. 21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. 22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 25 Verily, v...

SATURDAY 6TH JUNE 2020. THEME: BABY KING? MEMOR Y VERSE : Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning! ( Ecclesiastes 10:16 ) BIBLE READ ING : Ecclesiastes 10:16-18 16 Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning! 17 Blessed art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness! 18 By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through. MESSAGE In the previous study, the father was rightly described as the priest of the home. He is however also the king of the home. What a father does will have effect on every member of his family. As a father, you cannot afford to act like a child. From our memory verse, we see that it is the family that would suffer for the childishness of their king (the father). Remember that everything you do is an example for your children. When yo...

FRIDAY, 5TH JUNE, 2020. THEME: MARRIAGE CHRIST’S EXAMPLE II. MEMORY  VERSE : Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; ( Ephesians 5:25 ) BIBLE READ ING : Ephesians 5:25-31 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. MESSAGE Christ has an u...

THURSDAY , 4TH JUNE , 2020. THEME: MARRIAGE: CHRIST’S EXAMPLE I. MEMORISE VERSE : For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. ( Ephesians 5:23 ) BIBLE READ ING : Ephesians 5:22-30 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies.
