TUESDAY 23RD FEBRUARY, 2021. THEME: GUARD YOUR HEART. MEMORY VERSE: “ Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs  4:23 BIBLE READING: Psalm 119:10-12 (KJV) 10. With my whole heart have I sought thee; O let me not wander from thy commandments. 11. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. 12. Blessed art thou, O LORD; teach me thy statutes. MESSAGE It is shocking how believers engage in all manner of conversations and associations carelessly. If you know the value of your heart, you would guard it jealously.  In (2 Samuel 13) we see a classic case of what happens when a person does not guard his or her heart. Amnon who was a prince and could have married any lady in the land lusted after his half-sister who was a virgin. He hates to share you with any other god. That is why you must flee idolatry. Idolatry means worshipping idol. Anything you regard higher than God is an idol, whether you are doing it consciously or not. This is why you need to check who you are worshipping at every point in time.
