WEDNESDAY, 1ST JULY, 2020. THEME: WATCH YOUR WORDS AT ALL TIMES (1). MEMORY VERSE: In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise. (Proverbs 10:19) BIBLE READING:  James 1:26 (KJV) 26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. MESSAGE: Nuclear weapons are to be handled with the utmost care. Your tongue is the most potent weapon in your body; it is your nuclear weapon.  The Bible, in James 3:5 says:  “ Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!” When the devil wants to find out a person’s secret in order to bring him down, he begins to ask questions so that the fellow can share his secret with him, the devil needed to know Samson’s secret in order to bring him down, so he sent Delilah to ask him questions. Up until Samson’s tongue gave him away, all the devil’s ...

TUESDAY, 30TH JUNE, 2020. THEME: NO RELATIONSHIP. MEMORY VERSE And have no relationship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (Ephesians 5:11) BIBLE READING: 2nd Corinthians 6:14-18 (KJV) 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?  16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.  18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. MESSAGE : Many people, especially the youth, have fallen into t...

MONDAY, 29TH JUNE, 2020. THEME: EQUIPPED FOR SERVICE. MEMORY VERSE: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  (2 Timothy 2:15) BIBLE READING: 1 PETER 5:1-4 1 . The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: 2. Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3. Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock. 4. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. MESSAGE : The choice of the vessel to use for any particular purpose is typically dependent on the owners preference, as well as the suitability of each to the assignment at hand. So also, the person whom God would use for any assignment must meet Go...

FRIDAY, 26TH JUNE, 2020. THEME: YOU MUST BE SIGNIFICANTLY RELEVANT. MEMORY VERSE:  Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry. (2 TIMOTHY 4:11) BIBLE READING: ACTS 13:1-3 1. Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. MESSAGE Everyone from the beginning of creation has openly or secretly desired to be significantly relevant within their family or society. The serpent’s offer to Eve had the undertone of increased relevance; King Saul sought to kill David because the women sang that the young boys victory was gr...

THURSDAY, 25TH JUNE, 2020. THEME: THIRST FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT MEMORY VERSE:  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing .( John 15:5) BIBLE READING:  2 KINGS 6:1-7 1 . And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us. 2. Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye. 3. And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go. 4. So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood. 5. But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed. 6. And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim. 7....

WEDNESDAY, 24TH JUNE, 2020. THEME: THE BLESSING OF THE BIRTHRIGHT. MEMORY VERSE: Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not . (1 John 3: 1) BIBLE READING: ROMANS 8:16-26 16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21. Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious ...

TUESDAY, 23RD JUNE, 2020. THEME: THE BIGGER YOUR VISION, THE GREATER YOUR EXPLOITS. MEMORY VERSE: And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. (Luke 5:5) READ: 2nd Kings 13:14-19 (KJV) 14 Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. 15 And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows. 16 And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands. 17 And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the Lord's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou ...

MONDAY, 22ND JUNE, 2020. THEME: BABY CHRISTIANS NEED TO GROW FIRST. MEMORY VERSE: As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the world, that ye may grow thereby:  (1st Peter 2:2) BIBLE READING: Ephesians 4:11-16 (KJV) 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint ...

SATURDAY,20TH JUNE, 2020. THEME: REFUSE TO BE INTIMIDATED MEMORY VERSE  And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28 BIBLE READING: DANIEL 4:12-18 12. The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it. 13. I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven; 14. He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches: 15. Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion ...

FRIDAY, 19TH JUNE, 2020. THEME: HUNGER AND THIRST FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS. MEMORY VERSE: Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.  (Matthew 5:6) BIBLE READING: John 4:31-34 (KJV) 31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. 32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. 33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? 34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. MESSAGE: You can always identify someone who is hungry for righteousness because his/her disposition will reflect their area of interest-godliness. Joseph was a classic example of someone who was hungry and thirsty for righteousness. He loved and feared the Lord.  Even when sexual immorality was presented to him on a platter with attendant benefits, he vehemently refused and said in Genesis 39:9 “… how can I do this great wickedness, ...

THURSDAY, 18TH JUNE, 2020. THEME:  ANTIDOTE FOR FRUITFULNESS. MEMORY VERSE Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit . John 15:2 BIBLE READING: DEUTERONOMY 7:12-15 12. Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: 13. And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. 14. Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. 15. And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou kno...

WEDNESDAY, 17TH  JUNE, 2020. THEME: SPIRITUAL INTIMACY. MEMORY VERSE Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  (Matthew 11:29) BIBLE READING: ACTS 2:41-47 41. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45. And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47. Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church da...

TUESDAY, 16TH  JUNE, 2020. THEME: PARTAKERS OF HIS SUFFERING. MEMORY VERSE: Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:10 BIBLE READING: MARK 10:29-30 29. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, 30. But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. MESSAGE: When the departure time of our Lord Jesus drew near, He told His disciples such things as would befall them, so they would not be caught unawares. The fact that the disciples would suffer hatred was central to this particular discussion. John 15:20 says: ''Remember, the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted me, the...

M ONDAY,15TH JUNE, 2020. THEME: EVIDENCE OF A DIVINE ENCOUNTER. MEMORY VERSE “ Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”  (2 Corinthians 5:17)   BIBLE READING Acts 4:8-14 (KJV) 8. Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, 9. If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; 10. Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12. Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. 13. SUNDAY, 14TH JUNE, 2020.  THEME: THE KING SERVANT. MEMORY VERSE: And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all .  (Mark 10:44) BIBLE READING: MATTHEW 20:25-28 25. But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27. And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28. Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. MESSAGE : “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him : Psalm 89:20” One may think the passage should have read I have found a king, but it says: I have found a servant. God is looking for one who will be a king, yet a servant. In other words, the route to true leadership in any area of life is service. Amongst the Apostles, Pa...

SATURDAY, 13TH JUNE, 2020. THEME: POWER OVER SIN. MEMORY VERSE  For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Matt. 26:28) BIBLE READING: Galatians 3:20-26 (KJV) 20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. 21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.     23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. MESSAGE: Many Christian think the law (the Old Testamen...

And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. 15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother. WEDNESDAY, 10TH JUNE, 2020. THEME: PRAYERS FOR OUR LEADERS. MEMORY VERSE The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. (Proverbs 21:1) BIBLE READING: 1 Timothy 2:1-4  1. I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. PRAYERS 1. Thank God for all your leaders. 2. Father, uphold our leaders and send help to them so we may lead a peaceful and godly life. 3. Father, give us righteous leaders at all levels in the mighty name of Jesus. 4. Father, please protect our leaders and keep them away from all evil. 5.
